Today's dish is red kidney beans, 2 whole eggs cooked in 5 grams of butter along with 2 medium chopped tomatoes. It's an easy meal with only 5 minutes of cooking and chopping. Please share your meal ideas. 

Tuna , green beans, red beans and potatoes are a perfect easy  healthy meal to prepare. Exhausted from work this meal was easy to prep with all the ingredients at home. All I had to do was boil the potatoes and steam frozen green beans. Canned tuna and red beans were washed with water beforehand. What are your easy go to meals ?

Yogurt, the famous fermented food. Who hasn't tasted yogurt at least once in his/her lifetime?  Love it or not it is known to have several benefits for bone, heart and guy health along with being rich in protein and healthy fats. Research studies have shown that it aids in the reduction of the risk of type II diabetes. Here in Egypt, yogurt is an essential snack sometimes supper. Labantia brand is owned by al mansour dairy and food company aka SECLAM. This yogurt is amazing and competes with well known brands like nestle. Vitmain c is one of the essential vitamins required by the human body. Ever since covid-19 I increased my uptake of this vitamin by taking a supplement. The one I opted for is vitacid  which contains 1gm of vitamin c. It is an effervescent tablet so I put it in half a glass of water and wait for it to completely disintegrate then drink it. Another type is the vitacid-calcium which contains additional calcium carbonate as 800 mgs. Both are manufacturered by the Egyptian drug company called cid which produces a lot of great products I use. 

Any hair removal process dosen't just remove the hairs on the surface of the skin.  It usually strips, scrapes or removes a few cells of the epidermis of the skin. So you usually have to hydrate the skin especially after shaving. Today I'll write about two creams that I use after shaving.  Both are from local Egyptian brands and are very affordable 1. Aroosa cream by "asala" brand . It claims that it minimizes the amount of hair regrowth upon regular use but that dosen t happen. I use it to calm the skin down and moisturize it after shaving.  2. My baby  cream by "my way" brand.This is  a regular zinc oxide nappy rash cream. I use it for a lot of uses and is convenient after shaving. I also use it as a body moisturizer and to calm any rashes or inset bites.

I purchased this  Walgreen's  "multivitamin for women" bottle of 200 tablets 3 months ago because I ran out of my Centrum  . I can honestly tell my review now that I don't like this brand. Although it has a list of vitamins and minerals in good percentages as stated on the label I really don't feel well after using them.  I always feel lethargic and depleted which didn't happen with my Centrum. I don't think I would buy this brand again.

Red tea One of the most popular hot drinks here in Egypt. No single home here does not have red tea. We usually use the loose powdered leaves type and just add boiling water and sugar to it and let it brew before serving. Sometimes milk is added for a lovely latte. Arosa tea is a local Egyptian brand and is the best brand out here. It has a unique blend and makes the best cup of red tea ever. 

Sunblock is an essential part of any skincare routine. I got a sample of Vichy sunblock and tried it for almost a week. First I would like to tell you I have combination skin so I prefer products to be less oily. This sunblock had a texture that left a tad of shine on my skin but wasn't heavy and I felt moisturizer. The scent is not that great and the protection was medium.I tried better sunblocks so I don't think I would purchase the full size in the near future. 

My way brand has a line of body splashes which are small in size and convenient for daily use. I tried the one called shaza  and really liked it especially after showering. I bought another bottle after finishing my first one. 

Jordana has always been one of my favorite makeup brands. You can easily find it in beauty supply stores in Egypt. I have tried a lot of their products. One of my favorites is their nail polish. I love their wide color range and amazing formulation  They dry in almost no time and don't smudge. Ever since I removed my acrylics my nails have been damaged so I'm going back to normal nail polish application these days. Today I opted for the shade lively lilac . This antibacterial gel is a good quality affordable one. It is manufactured in Egypt by a factory called my way .  This scent is lemon scented with gives a fresh feel after sanitizing. I highly recommend you try it if you are on a budget. 

If you are looking for excellent quality notebooks in Egypt there is no other brand like Mintra. I have used it for years ever since college and it has the best quality papers and outstanding designs.  This brand has recently introduced a line of backpacks and some cooking supplies but I haven't tried any yet.

its been a challenge for me to workout recently since the start of the pandemic. i have always been active and outgoing and loved going to the gym. i tried at first to start walking around the block but lockdown stopped that. the second option for me was to workout at home. This brand  (Dolphin) is of the best Egyptian tuna brands. It has elegant packaging and great taste. The one piece type is great but although it is marketed as one piece it is made of chunks. I usually add it to tuna salads or pastas. You should give it a try too. #dolphintuna #egyptianlifestyle

Do you suffer from joint pain? I purchased this product recently due to covid-19 situation. It is a local Egyptian brand called Tova Guard. It is small in size so easy to put in my purse. The spray nozzle has a lock which prevents it from leaking when you place it in your purse. The scent is a bit heavy but it doesn't linger. It is composed of 70% alcohol, chlorhexidine, glycerin and aloe vera so it doesn't dry your hands. The ointment you see is one of the best products for many uses. It is manufactured by julphar pharmaceutical company It is marketed as an oinmtent for burns. I used it over the years for minor and major burns. The thing is you have to use it once the burn is fresh for it to prevent any scarring. I also use it for stretch marks and as a treatment after dermarolling to aid in skin recovery. Today is gonna be probably the last day of the Holy month of Ramadan. The last Iftar for a whole year. This year it was a different Ramadan due to Covid-19 which made gatherings way less than before. Today's dish is called "Mahshi", a traditional Egyptian dish which consists of cabbage leaves, bell peppers or eggplants stuffed with a mix of rice, diced onions, parsley and chopped tomatoes.
